The End of an Era

Troy Studios as we know it since 1978 is coming to an end. The building sale is due to close by June 30th. The upstairs of the Troy is experiencing a mass exodus as long time tenants, some of over 35 years can not afford the near tripling of the previously affordable artist warehouse rent. New tenants are expected to see quadruple of the old guard rents. The Hulme family for nearly 4 decades generously supported many high profile artists as well as many artists getting a start.
